BitScoot rents the Yamaha XMAX in Langkawi from RM150 a day, beside Langkawi International Airport. Peak season is RM170 to RM200 a day, with a RM200 refundable deposit.

Questions
Do I need a special licence for the XMAX?
Yes. Malaysian riders need a Class B1 or full Class B licence, and B2 is not accepted. Foreign riders need a valid home-country motorcycle licence and an International Driving Permit. There are no exceptions.
What does the rental include?
A full tank of RON95, two SIRIM-certified helmets, a phone holder, a USB charging port and basic insurance. Basic insurance is not comprehensive, so travel insurance is recommended.
How much is the deposit?
RM200, refundable. You pay RM100 online when you book and RM100 in cash at pickup. It comes back when the scooter returns in the same condition. The online card fee is not refundable.
What happens if I damage the scooter?
If the damage is your fault, you pay up to an excess of RM2,000, plus a loss-of-use charge at BitScoot's discretion.
Where do I pick it up?
At the BitScoot store beside Langkawi International Airport: No. 5, Jalan Padang Matsirat, 07100 Langkawi. Airport pickup at Arrival Door 3 is free, and so is delivery to hotels within 1km of the airport. Delivery to Pantai Cenang, Pantai Tengah or Kuah is RM20 to RM30 each way.
Are there discounts?
From May to October, rentals of 4 or more days get 10% off the scooter, and booking a tour adds another 5%. There are no standard discounts from November to April.
